A guy came into our office one day to show some doors and windows. The windows were very high end and made to withstand some crazy BS from people trying to break in. 99% of houses are made of 2x4's (well more recent builds are 2x6's) with a layer of 1/2" plywood and a finish siding. The guy was showing how string the window was by hitting it with the hammer. I was thinking ok, the window will keep me out, but if i turned that hammer around and attacked the wall next to it with the claw side of the hammer , i’d be through the plywood and sheetrock in 5 minutes and inside the house.
